Got a Altea FR 170bhp, 2.0 TDi. 2007. Rear discs vary between 253 and 286mm dia and pads 87 to 109mm width. Ok parts fitted may vary by years but does anyone know what should be on above car please. Trying to find out and order parts before I strip it down.
1) contact the main dealer and speak to someone in the retail parts department, and give them your car details i.e registration number & possibly chassis number,
they will then be able to tell you what size brake disc / pads you have fitted.
2) remove one rear wheel and measure your rear brake disc diameter, plus you might be able to measure the outer brake pad in situ.
Most aftermarket car part suppliers can only list most common parts, they're not always able to narrow it down, unless it's a early or late model of car, if your car for example is on the face lift change over year, then this is more likely why you have a choice of disc / pad sizes.
Hope this helps
Si
