Hi. I bought a 16 plate Seat Cupra 290 last week, mileage 23,000. . I've since noticed there is a small tear and some wear in the stitching on the side of the drivers leather bucket seat. It's not clear from looking at my manual whether this would be covered by any warranty on the car, or indeed what the warranty is. Assuming is 3 years. Does anyone know whether such a seat repair would be covered by the warranty. Cheers.
if the vehicle is not quite 3 years old yet,
it will still have the original manufacturers 3 year warranty which basically covers everything on/in that vehicle.
The extended warranties you can purchase separately when a vehicle is 3 years to 5 years old, but they are no where near as good as the original OEM manufacturers warranty, so don't waste your money on this type, so many car dealers try and sell this.
Si
