Hi folks, you've just spotted that lovely Seat on Autotrader. Late model with low mileage. The V5 looks ok. You've done the checks on Experian. The log book has all the right stamps in all the right places. It all seems 100% genuine. No, it's not.
Clocking cars is easy. Just ask Jason Reid. He specialises in clocking late model, high mileage Seats from vehicle auctions. This is his 'stamp' that looks genuine, but it's not, so watch out for it. You can also visit this site to find out a bit more about Jason Reid, the Seat clocker (unfortunately, no 'mugshot' of him as yet)
