they are probably going to remove the unit and replace the glow plug with it on the work bench? that means possibly a partial draining down of the coolant system and the rear heater unit!
then they are most likely thinking that all the fixings are rusted solid and this will add time to the job! make their job a bit easier by giveing all the bolts a good dose of releasing agent a couple of times before you let them loose on the car
also there is a upgraded glow plug available! make sure they are using this one and not the older version!
