Cambelt snapped tonight - yay!!!!

CGGB engine in 2012 Ibiza. Pulled the spark plugs and put a scope in the holes. There are "impact" marks on the top of the pistons. I'm guessing the valves aren't well.......

Should I pull the head or just look for a replacement engine?

Thoughts?

Id pull the head off, some people say that theyre safe engines some people say that they are interference engines so i wouldn't be sure. If you was going to buy an engine you may as well pull the head off to have a look.
