Hello. I recently changed the heat exchanger on my Seat Leon FR (2015 Mk 3 2.0 TDI 150) as we were getting no heat in the cabin.
Since doing so, I’ve refilled the coolant system and this resolved our issue of no heat but a few days after, the car has started running up temperatures of up to 130C and displaying an ‘overheating’ message so we have had to stop to let it cool down.
I have noticed that if I drive the car with the heaters on hot and on full, it cools the engine back down and I can drive it but obviously this is only a short term resolution and needs sorting.
Has anyone got any suggestions or knowledge of something that could cause this?
TYIA.
