Dear All,

This has been in and out of the Seat garage about 3 times now, each time the have re-connected the pipes, put clips on them. It has happened again could it be that I am causing the problem by not using the proper VAG Windscreen fluid, I have used a cheaper alternative.

Also does a Seat main dealer have to do a VAGCOM check and delete code ?

Many thanks

Jason

Is it a mk3 beeza youve got?

Mines did that a lot - think the phrase is ****e design. I eventually stuck mine on with a cable tie.

Its nothing to do with the screen wash you use mate just the clip cant take the preassure of the jet.

The make of screenwash doesn't matter but the concentration does. If the concentration's too weak then the pipes freeze and expand, causing the joints to pop undone.

mine did this lots - soaked my boot when I first noticed it.

I used ptfe tape (?) - that stuff you wrap around household pipes before you screw your tyaps on. A couple of wraps round the joining connectot and the pipe stayed firm. Used a small cable tie too for added insurance.
