Found this site today, American based but looks to have lots of goodies for Audi's & VW's.

Noticed they had a quick shift gear linage to fit the MK4 Golf, would that fit our 20 Vt's??

GFB dump valves on there too

B&M short shifters from Autotechnik can fit the 02A and 02J g'boxes.
Variable % reductions on them.

complete gear lever assemblies in machined Aluminium.

I think they said they did.
Best bet is to give them a call. (02380 666200 and speak to Ness or Alan)

20VT ones being 02J g'boxes, and earlier 16 models being 02A g'boxes.

Early ones were Rod change, and I know Autotechnik have done rod change shortshifts for approx £15 exchange or something.

wee man have a rod achange box with short shift from autotecnik as bill says.
it can be adjusted to 30 or 50 % reduction works a treat on mine

The rod change is the part which connects the bottom of the gear lever to the gear box, as opposed cables (x2)

If you look in your engine bay for the geat linkage you would see a straight rod down by the steering rack if Rod change, or 2 cables attached to the top of the g'box mechanism if cable change.

Anyone know what the box in a Leon is? I know Neuspeed do loads of fitments but don't know what I would need.
