Hi
My son has a León 63 plate, his first car. He loves it, but last week, the sun roof jammed open.
His Seat dealer has had a look and advises that the cables are seized. Of course, the cables are excluded from the extended warranty. The only way to fix it is to replace the roof at a cost of over £2,300, on a car that's almost 7 years old. The garage will try to close the roof manually but can't guarantee that this will work. Even if it does, there will still be a labour bill approaching £600.
Anyone any thoughts or experience of similar issues?
