I am looking at buying a new digital camera for myself as my orginal one (Fujifilm DX-10) is getting a bit past it.

My photography skills at best are weak so i am really looking at the point and shoot variety of cameras. I have quite fallen forthe Cannon ixus V2 .

Any posts or suggestions regarding this particular camera suitability or alternatives will be gratefuly welcolmed

I've got a Canon Powershot A50. It's pretty old (3yrs or so) but it's a superb camera - really rate it highly. No problems with it at all, and it's still as good as it was when I bought it.

So yeah, go for the Ixus - Canon won't dissapoint I don't think.

Best place to go at the moment is Dixons online via Yahoo...10% off all digital cameras on the site!

I got myself a Kodak DX3900 a couple of weeks back and although it's a bit big it's big on features and it's crystal clear!
I paid £224 from Dixons!
